This ES335 has had the full treatment from Historic Makeovers in order to ensure that it feels, plays and sounds like an AUTHENTIC 1959 Gibson Semi-Hollowbody! We agree that they've absolutely *nailed* it. The tone is to die for - that warm, articulate midrange absolutely sings, even when you strum the guitar unplugged. It has a clear, powerful voice characterized by a very pleasant, vocal tonal quality reminiscent of a properly aged vintage instrument. Features a lightweight, maple center block at the core, with a laminated maple body and spruce bracing to deliver ultimate warmth and top-end chime and sparkle.
